The Heart Behind the Courage Reclaimed Podcast

Growing up, I had more questions than answers about sex, God’s love for an addict like me, and how to become a courageous leader.

I heard talk about these concepts from pulpits… occasionally. But nothing felt tangible. Whenever these topics were discussed, there was no vulnerability or relatability. It felt intellectual and impersonal.

My deepening struggle, despite “praying it away”, led me to question God.

Am I beyond God’s help?

Am I alone in this struggle?

I was lost and without anyone who could come alongside me in the struggle.

The Courage Reclaimed Podcast, officially launching August 2nd, is my attempt at coming alongside my younger self, as a brother. I hope to share the lessons I have learned with vulnerability while continuing to learn and grow in each season I am in.

I will share true stories of healing and seek expertise from both Scripture and addiction counselors on how to break free from what holds us back and become the leaders God has called us to be.

With Christ, there is always hope. In this podcast, we’ll take steps toward experiencing it, so stay tuned!
